Scottish Craft, Fiber & Finishing

Our collection is built on a disciplined approach to knit construction, fiber selection, and finishing. Each garment is knitted on both traditional flat-bed and modern machines by experienced Scottish technicians, allowing for precise stitch control, clean shaping, and consistent gauge across styles.

We work exclusively with Todd & Duncan yarns, spun and finished using the naturally soft waters of Loch Leven in Kinross, Scotland. This low-mineral water preserves fiber integrity, improves yarn cohesion, and enhances softness without compromising strength.

Once knitted, Billie Todd garments are washed and finished using the soft waters of the River Teviot that flows through Hawick, Scotland, a process that relaxes the knit structure while maintaining shape, resilience, and longevity.

The result is Scottish-made cashmere and lambswool knitwear with natural warmth, refined texture, and a handle that improves over time—pieces defined by clarity of material, considered construction, and enduring craftsmanship.
