The Struan 2-Ply Cashmere Cotton Sport Crewneck Sweatshirt
Lightweight. Laid-back. Naturally refined.
Named for the Gaelic word meaning stream, The Struan is designed to flow with you — easy, effortless, and quietly confident. It’s the sweatshirt reimagined: a modern layer made for movement, rest, and everything in between.
Spun from a breathable two-ply blend of Scottish cashmere and Egyptian cotton, crafted at the legendary Todd & Duncan mill on the banks of Loch Leven. The yarn—known for its softness, resilience, and natural temperature regulation—is light enough for summer, yet substantial enough to wear year-round. It softens with each wear, molding gently to your shape over time. Inspired by vintage athletic-wear but elevated in every way.

A LUXURY FABRIC THAT LIVES UP TO THE HYPE
Todd & Duncan Scottish Cashmere Yarn
A cashmere blend with Egyptian cotton, the finest cotton grown, from Todd & Duncan, spun in Kinross with Loch Leven water.
Two-ply means two strands of yarn twisted together, the lightest construction in the range, keeping the sweatshirt easy rather than heavy.
Egyptian cotton is worked in for structure and breathability, holding the ribbed cuffs and hem crisp through repeated wear and letting the piece move air on warmer days, while the cashmere carries a softness cotton alone can't provide.
Cashmere brings the softness.
Cotton brings the structure and breathability that survive repeated wear.

OVER 200 YEARS OF HISTORY
Built by experience for all life’s experiences
Knitted in Hawick to a relaxed sweatshirt shape with the construction quality of a full cashmere garment.
Turn-back cuffs and a ribbed hem are knitted flat and set by hand, the same exacting process used across the range, so the shape holds through wear instead of stretching out.
The shoulder seam is set with a distinct construction rarely seen on cashmere sweatshirts, and the collar takes a sweatshirt-style treatment rather than a standard crew rib, giving it a shape closer to the sportswear it's modeled on.
Every seam is checked by hand before it leaves the mill, the same standard Scottish knitters have held to for generations, regardless of how casual the finished shape looks.
The most-worn shape in most closets, built from better fibre than usual.
