Two strands of Todd & Duncan cashmere at the Grade-A standard: 15.5 microns in diameter and 35mm in staple length, the two measurements that separate serious cashmere from the rest.
Finer diameter means a softer hand; longer staple means stronger, less pill-prone yarn.
Spun in Kinross using Loch Leven water.

Full-fashioned in Hawick, each panel shaped directly on the knitting machine rather than cut from fabric and sewn together, so there are no raw edges left to fray over time and the crewneck holds its shape wear after wear.
The collar is full-fashioned too, and the stitching is left visible rather than hidden, a small detail that shows the shaping was done on the machine rather than pieced together afterward.
That method has anchored Scottish knitwear for two centuries, and the concentration of skilled knitters working it in one town is why the finish and durability here outpace mass-produced cashmere.
Finished in the soft waters of the River Teviot, which lets the drape settle in properly.
