4-ply Grade-A Todd & Duncan cashmere, 15.5 microns in diameter, 35mm in staple length.
Four-ply means four individual strands of yarn twisted together before knitting, for a noticeably denser knit than a standard two-ply sweater.
Kinross-spun, finished with Loch Leven water.

Full-fashioned knitting keeps the v-seam sharp instead of bunching at the lapel, a technique refined in Hawick over more than two centuries of Scottish knitwear craft.
The Douglas is cut with a saddle shoulder, where the sleeve runs up and over the shoulder point to meet the collar in a single diagonal seam, rather than the bulkier seam of a standard set-in sleeve, a detail that takes real skill to execute cleanly.
The result sits flatter under a blazer and moves more freely at the shoulder.
Knitted in Hawick, where water drawn from the River Teviot is used in the finishing process.
